RV740, The First 40nm GPU From AMD

As reported by NordicHardware, it seems that AMD has successfully manufactured its first chip on the 40nm node, the RV740. This is not an high end GPU, but it is the first successful port of AMD's GPU architecture to the new manufactoring node. It is a mainstream GPU on the $100 segment that AMD is using to gain some experience while working on the RV870 Lil' Dragon, the next generation high end GPU.
